What It Takes to Tell the Truth

Two years after launching the Berlin Incubator for Media in Exile, JINN presents the results of its new survey, featuring interviews with founders of exile media outlets, journalists, and mentors from Meduza, iStories, Novaya Gazeta Europe, Beda, Riga Media Hub, and more, sharing insights into the missions, challenges, and crisis management of Russian journalists in exile.

Strengthening Ukrainian Investigative Reporting​

The programme provides short-term grants for journalistic investigations, reporting, and content production. Ukrainian editorial offices, freelance journalists, data researchers, and media start-ups are eligible to apply. This includes media organisations operating in exile or whose employees work in Germany.

The Exile Media Hub Berlin is a dedicated support and workspace initiative for foreign media professionals and exiled newsrooms. Located in the heart of Berlin, the Hub offers a flexible, well-equipped environment featuring coworking spaces, training rooms, meeting areas, and a pop-up studio for high-quality audio and video production.
